Photographing the street at night is an approach which consists in seeking a certain light, concentrating on the dark side in order to give more light to the visible part. As a street photographer I have always found a certain pleasure in the difficulty of freezing the moments of the night life. It is not easy to photograph the Moroccan street during the day so at night there is added one more difficulty that we face.
My approach consists first of all in penetrating the nocturnal world of the medina, looking for beauty in the arbitrariness of the dark recesses of small alleys. This project is part of the long term, a way to let the sweet nights of the Moroccan medina flow while being on the lookout for beautiful photographic chance.
